Selectro was contracted to design, manufacture and install the control panel and associated electrical and instrument installation for the new and impressive Byford secondary college hydrotherapy pool.

A Siemens S7 PLC coupled with a Siemens 15” Comfort Panel HMI was chosen for the control system.

The HMI layout encompasses a full overview of the plant including current and historical process variables, alarms and pop up control pages. Control system elements of the project include:

• VSD’s
• Temperature and heating
• Flow rates
• PH and Chlorine levels
• UV sterilisation
